Representatives of the Free Zone Pirot participated in the Economic Forum on Regional Cooperation held on July 29, 2021 in Skopje.
The forum was held within the four freedoms initiative ("Mini Schengen"), which implies deeper economic integration of the region of Serbia, Albania and Northern Macedonia and the establishment of a common regional market modeled on the European Union on the principles of free movement of people, goods, services and capital. The economic vision of the integrated region was presented by the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Edi Rama and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, Zoran Zaev.
