At the Eighth Session of the Parliament of Businessmen of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of the Nišava, Pirot and Toplica administrative districts, held on December 10 in Niš, Free Zone Pirot was awarded for special contribution to the development of the region's economy in 2024.
The session was attended by the Minister of Foreign and Internal Trade Ms. Jagoda Lazarevic, heads of administrative districts, representatives of companies and city authorities, etc. In addition to the topics on the agenda, there was also a discussion about opportunities for improving the economy as well as incentives for domestic and foreign companies, and Free Zone Pirot, the City of Pirot and Pirot businessmen were recognized as a successful example of cooperation that significantly contributed to the economic development of the region, by creating a favorable environment for business.
The award is an incentive to continue improving the development of the Pirot district in order to provide even better conditions for work and attracting investments, said Vladimir Ilić, executive director of the Pirot Free Zone.
