Representatives of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Serbia, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Serbia, the most important Chinese companies in the fields of infrastructure, industry and finance visited the Free Zone Pirot on June 30, 2026.
The tour was preceded by a meeting of representatives of the Chinese delegation with the mayor of Pirot, Mr. Vladan Vasić MSc, representatives of the local self-government, representatives of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Niš, Pirot and Toplic administrative districts and local businessmen. The meeting was held in the Multifunctional Cultural Center in Pirot, where the development plan of the city of Pirot, possible locations for investments and business facilities in the Free Zone Pirot were presented.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the Free Zone Pirot with its CEO Mr. Vladimir Ilić in order to learn more about logistics services and potential for cooperation. After visiting the Zone, the delegation also visited potential investment locations in the vicinity of Pirot.
Such visits confirm that Pirot and the Free Zone Pirot are recognized as a city with a favorable business environment and significant potential for new investments, said Vladimir Ilić, CEO of the Free Zone Pirot.
