The presentation of Free Zone Pirot in Varna

On June 8th 2006, the presentation of Free Zone Pirot was held in the organisation of Industry Chamber of Varna in the Plenary Hall of Varna Municipality, an industrial and tourist center in the north-eastern Bulgaria which makes a large profit in export and tourism. The facilities that Free Zone Pirot provides for Bulgarian businessmen were presented to the representatives of economy and media. The exceptionally favourable conditions for building in the Zone, the exemption of the future investors from paying the local taxes and payments, providing the services at the Logistics Center of Free Zone Pirot in shipping, transport organisation as well as benefits of the Free Trade Agreement with Russia were stressed.
Danilo Vucetic, the ambassador of Serbia in Bulgaria, attended the presentation. He had already had the meetings with the mayor of Varna and the manager of Varna Region. They discussed the possibilities of greater cooperation in economy, culture, sports, and tourism. That was the first official visit of the Serbian ambassador to this town after the independance of Montenegro had been declared.
After the presentation Serbian deputation visited Free Zone Varna and during the talks with the management of Varna Zone, they found more about the working process, developing plans and possibilities of cooperation between Free Zone Varna and Free Zone Pirot.
