Business delegation of Turkey in Serbia

Serbian Trade Chamber and Administration of Free Zones of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia organised the Panel and bilateral conference of the Turkish business delegation and the businessmen from Serbia.
On the panel, the possibilities of business cooperation between Serbia and Turkey were presented, as well as the Free Trade Agreement between Serbia and Turkey and the concept of Free zones in the Republic of Serbia. During the panel, Mr. Aleksandar Simonovic from Free Zone Pirot presented the potentials for investments in Pirot, stressing the benefits of the range of Municipality exemptions and possibilities of doing business in Free Zone Pirot regime which is duty and WAT free. The presentation of the new project of intermodal transport and logistics terminal and the potential cooperation in transport and logistics was specially stressed.
Since the presentation on the potential cooperation in transport attracted a significant interest of Turkish delegation, the president of Turkish Trade Chamber invited Free Zone Pirot to visit Turkey and to give the presentation in details on the possibilities of cooperation and potential partnership in the development of the transport terminal in Pirot to the members of the Chamber in concern.
