Conference on infrastructural development in South-eastern Europe
The representatives of Free Zone Pirot attended the Conference on infrastructural development of South-eastern Europe especially focused on internationalisation, which was held in the Main Hall of the Hotel Kempinski on November 10, 2009. The conference was declared open by the Bulgarian minister of regional development, Mr. Rosen Plevneliev.
In the crowded hall, within two panels, 17 speakers spoke about the future directions of infrastructural development and big infrastructural projects in the region of South-eastern Europe.
During the conference, Dr Dragan Kostic gave the presentation on ‘Free Zone Prot – transport and logistics terminal – the link of corridor 10 with corridors 7 and 4’.
On this occasion, the presentation was extended in the part on transport corridors and intermodal logistics in the transport organisaton particularly stressing the new transport logistics terminal project whose realisation has been in preparation by the Municipalities of Pirot (Serbia) and Pernik (Bulgaria) and which will improve cross-border cooperation between Serbia and Bulgaria.
